Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has decided to organise the World Telugu Conference in Hyderabad from June 2 to 10. The conference would be organised to coincidence with the State Formation Day celebrations with Telugu language scholars, fans and pandits from across the world participating in it. The proposed conference and celebrations would be done under the supervision of the newly-formed Telangana Sahitya Academy. Telugu News Online
The Chief Minister has also decided to constitute Telangana Lalitha Kala Academy, Sangeet Nataka Academy and Folk Arts Academy. The best Telugu dialect and best poetry is available in Telangana and the academies should become platforms to spread the literary flavour of Telangana to the world, he said.
