Accusing that successive governments have been diverting funds intended for the development and welfare of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, the Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) president Manda Krishna Madiga alleged that the government had diverted Rs 17, 500 crore funds under Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Sub Plan in two-and-half years.
