The nation pays homage to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on his 69th death anniversary today. He was assassinated on this day in 1948. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion. President Pranab Mukherjee, Vice-President Hamid Anasri and other eminent leaders will pay tributes to Bapu at his Samadhi, Rajghat in New Delhi.
