Ahead of the beginning of the Tamil Nadu Assembly session, first time after the demise of J Jayalalithaa, on an early morning crackdown, the police started removing scores of protesters who were demonstrating at the Marina beach in Chennai for the past one week, demanding a permanent solution for holding Jallikattu.
