Gadkari says AP to gets 2 coastal economic zones

Union Minister of Roads, Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari said that  two coastal economic zones will be set up in Andhra Pradesh at a cost of Rs.8 lakh crores, as part of the 40 Industrial corridors are being built in the country on international standards. The  both the zones — one covering Srikakulam to Vijayawadaand the other from Vijayawada to Nellore — will come under Visakhapatnam-Chennai

Speaking at the Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam, yesterday, he said that about one crore people will get employment opportunities through the coastal economic zones and industrial corridors.
