The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has said that as soon as the banks open it will issue new series of bank notes for the Rs. 500 and Rs. 2,000 denomination with improved features and newer sizes. Ms. Alpana Killawala, Principal Adviser of RBI told this while speaking to All India Radio today
